VAF9 - querry on travel history

Post by arunkumar_ek » Mon Jan 19, 2009 8:05 pm

Hi Guys,
I am planning to apply for UK Tier 1 ( point based ) visa. In the VAF9 aapplication form - IN Part 6 Previous Applications and Travel History

Have you ever been refused a visa for any country
including the UK?

My current employer applied for a J-1 Visa for my on the job training in USA on 31-May-06. Since my experience level was 5 + years at that time, the consular advised me to apply for a L-1 Visa which was more appropriate than J-1. So i could not get the J-1 Visa, later i applied for a
L-1 Visa on 06-Nov-06 , which was approved & can be seen in my passport.

Will this cause any problem ? Please advise.

If anyone with similar case approved or rejected ??

Thanks
Arun

You must disclose the information asked for. This should in no way mar your chances of getting Tier-1
