Work Permit to Spouse Visa

Post by chazza » Wed Jan 21, 2009 7:24 pm

I am currently 4 years into my Work Permit, but wish to change this to a spouse visa as my partner and I feel in this current climate it would be safer. We have been together for over 3yrs and own our own home. There is not much info available on changing visa status any ideas?

If you are eligible to apply for SET(O) as a work permit holder (134), then this should be quicker than switching to FLR(M) (285) and subsequently applying for SET(M) (288).
