AU nominating organisation? Binder/finisher traineeship 442

G'day, mates.

I am currently employed at a small printing company where I do printing and bindery work, and was originally hoping to apply for a Skilled Occupation visa as a binder and finisher (ASCO 4913-11, listed on SOL and MODL). However, I have little more than two years of experience in that line of work and our shop doesn't deal with hardcover books, so there's no way I would pass the TRA assessment at this point in time.

I would really love to go to Australia this year rather than wait, so am now looking into a traineeship (subclass 442), after completion of which I hope to pass the TRA assessment and obtain the Skilled Occupation visa. Unfortunately, I don't know how to find the required Australian nominating organization to nominate and train me. No matter how I search or where, all I find is that I need one, not how to find one.

In particular, I am wanting to find something Northwest of Sydney, around the Baulkham Hills/Hornsby area. If anyone can help me with this, I will be eternally grateful.

Oh, and I am 36 years old.

Not a very common visa. I really couldn't tell you where to start with this one, also in the current environment, many companies will prefer to hire and train Australians.

Best advice is to look for opportunities in the Australian branches of firms from your home country, try your Embassy in Australia or a Chamber of Commerce for a list of potential options and start looking directly.

Thank you for your reply, JAJ. If I could find an American company with a branch in Australia, would that job have to be on the SOL in order for me to work there? There are many other things I can do besides print finishing.
