Maintenance Fund Clarification

Hello,

I am wondering if anyone could please help me to clarify the 3 month time period required for maintenance funds.

I have had at least £2800 in my account starting on November 11, 2008.

I plan to apply for T1 on February 12. The evidence that I plan to submit is bank statements.

My question is what date would be deamed 3 months? Would it be February 10 or February 11 2009. Or, can I go to the bank and get the statements stamped on the 10 or 11 Feb

I would imagine that the time period you would be looking for is between November 11 and February 10 to complete 3 months. I personally feel that having the extra day of February 11 will do no harm. The date on the actual statement is used and not the date that it is stamped.

I am thinking along the same lines as you, and that Feb 11 would do no harm, but likely Feb 10 would be acceptable.
