HSMP>Tier 1 rejection

Post by nangvil » Sat Feb 07, 2009 9:02 pm

HSMP>Tier 1 rejected.
Application received: 29 Nov 08
Application refused: 17 Jan 09
HSMP Expired: 04 Jan 09

Rejected for 2 reasons.
(1) Payslips Oct 07 to Oct 08 does not tally with P60 2007/2008. Reason given is P60 does not cover the full period. Given that we're only allowed to send in 12 out of 15 months of documents, I have now realised that one can only send in P60 between the months of April till June.
(2) Maintenance fund below £800(I must admit that was my fault. I attempted to send in further documents for consideration before decision was made, HO never acknowledged it).

Appeal pending end of this month at AIT. Look forward to the hearing.

Why you send P60 form anyway? i think 12 months payslips and bank statement is enough to prove previous earnings.

Hi Nangvil

have you sent payslips (12 months) and bankstatments with P60?

I am note sure that if you have payslips and bankstamtents coraborate each other, then still they reject your case.

I have recently sent my extention with following documents.

1. Payslips (12 months)
2. Bank statements (12 Months)
3. Employer letter (confirming my income)
4. P60 (partly covers my income)

I have maintained funds thou.

I cannot say that if they just on the bases of p60, they reject the extention.

I have only sent 2 documents as required, ie: P60 and Payslips. In hindsight, I should have realised P60 is only valid for April till June. Previously when I applied for HSMP, I used my P60 without any problem.

Obviously not this time.

yes, thats the problem, your P60 was not only covering a part ofclaimed period but the documents you sent are also from one source i.e employer. You must have sent a 2nd soure covering whole of your claimed period.

sorry about your case... have you gone to appeal yet?
Hope things go right for you later.
