Master Degree Acceptable for English Language ?

Hello Guyz

its quite confusing me that can any one please tell me that MASTER DEGREE FROM UK 1 year is acceptable as english language

On the UKBA website it says

"you hold a degree that was taught in English and is equivalent to a United Kingdom bachelor's degree or above; "

Above means Masters ? my UK MASTER degree gives me 10 points for english language ....coz perviously in HSMP old rules u have to have bachelor degree.... and master degree wasn't acceptable ....

So any one can please tell me ?

Saqib,

I would go with the result of the points calculator. Since you have documentary evidance of supporting for claim (10 points for masters degree in english language section). Just attach the result of the calculator (pdf) with your application and it should be fine..

dont forget to mention this in your cover letter.

If your degree exists on point calculator and its giving you 10 points for English. It does not metter that this degree is from UK university/college or from rest of the world.
