Hi,

I really need some expert help on my case.Me and my wife got married on 29 june 2007 while i was on workpermit and my wife came to UK on WP dependent visa on sep 2007 she was here until aug 2008,she went back to india for delivery.

Now i got my ILR so i need to apply settlement visa for my wife and baby i have the following questions

1) My passport copy(Including ILR visa) need to be certified or notarised.Is this compulsary?

2) Because my wife was in UK is there any excemption od medical test when we apply for settlement visa or she will call for medical test

3) List of documents need to be submitted as follows

Completed Application form VAF4
Salary Slips - 6 months
Bank Statements - 6months
Last 3 years p60's
Employer contract
Employer support letter
House Rent Agreement
Sponser Support letter with notarised
Complete Passport copy with certified or notarised
Marriage Certificate
Marriage photos and invitation cards
Baby Birth Cetificate
Photo graphas - 2 each
Application fee for both
House inspection letter from estate agent
Online phonecall bills for communication proof

Is there anything i am missing from the above list of documents

In my baby application is there anything specially i need to menction

1. Yes its compulsary to have them certified or notarised by the appropiate person to confirm that all pages are exactly the same as the original document. This is to prevent fraud taking place particularly if previous applications were made using the same passport.

2.No there are no exemption, she will have to undertake a TB test in India

3 the documents appear to be in order and are sufficient to support your wifes and child application. Hopefully you should habe no problem.Good luck

Thanks for your reply.I just spoke with VFS support person in india it is not necessary for india origins to notarised their passport if we do it is better and for foreign nationals(British passport,etc) they have to notarised their passport copy
