Earnings issue - Please clarify

Post by sach_ren » Thu Feb 19, 2009 2:50 pm

My salary has been divided in to two parts, one includes (Basic+ HRA +PF) and another is for reimbursement (Driver salary + medical + phone allowance)

In the home office website it is mentioned that "Earnings we include in the assessment :
allowances (such as accommodation, schooling or car allowances) that form part of your remuneration package;

Unearned sources of income that we will not consider as previous earnings include:

expenses (such as accommodation, schooling or car allowances) that reimburse you for money you have previously spent"

Can anyone let me know whether i can use reimbursements as my earnings

Does your whole salary (1st part + 2nd part) get paid in one shot OR are both salaries mentioned in your monthly payslips? If yes, you can definitely count both against points scoring criteria for earning section.

Hi,

I am on WP in UK since last 1.5 yeards
.
I receive my Indian salary in India in INR and add on to that I receive my Per DIEM and various other expenses(everything rent and oyster and all ) in UK in GBP.

My company will provide me with all the attested salary slips but not the Per DIEM and expense in UK.

I am gonna claim Indian salary of around 400000 INR

Can I apply for TIER 1 while being in UK , which band they will look at me indian or UK band .. ?

Please let me know
