Allwoncance while on Vacation

hi friends, i work for a company which pays half of the allowance while somone is on vacation to hos /her home country .
I was on vaction for a month during my past 12 month period ( which i am claiming under "prevous earnngs") . My question is if teh allwoance generated for that month while i was in vacation to my hme county , be considered as valid?
