Removal Costs UK to Canada - Container or Boxes??

I hope to be moving to Canada at the beginning of the summer but we have decided not to take our bigger furniture with us but just to take personal effects.

This will I am sure still run in to quite a few boxes and I was wondering what is the most cost effective way of doing it - share a container or post the boxes?
