URGENT Clarification required. Please Help. Tier 1 Aussie

Post by dfurletti » Wed Feb 25, 2009 11:05 am

Hi There,

I'm about to apply for Tier 1 from back in Australia. I was going to do i in april but have inconveniently bought it forward to mid March. I have a few questions that i would be VERY greatful to have answered.

1) I understand the rules were clarified late last year in relation to the 50/50 rule, however this is the situation im in. my visa start date is 28th Feb 2008, i arrived in the uk on the 01 May 2008 and worked from late may untll present. So 10 out of 13 months of my visa or 10 out of 10.5 months the time am here. Will this have an adverse effect on my appliction. cnsifdering i earned 30000 pound during the 8 months and worked in a job within the industry i have my degreee?

2)When applying for my Tier 1 would it be beneficial or otherwise to:
a) Attach a letter of reference from my UK employer?
Attach a letter of a job offer for if/when i gat my visa approved and move back to the UK?

3) Do i need a NARIC certificate if my degree is listed on the PBS test on the Home office website? Cn i just attach the print out of this.

4) Do i need to include my mark sheet or any supplementary info in additio to the original copy of my degree?

5) I worked in a bar job for the first 2 months i as here can i omit this job or do i need to declare it?

AND FINALLYY!!!

6) would one long continuous statement, verified by the bank, be ok for the 3 month maintenance funds evidence!

I know its alot but thanks for you help!!!!
your asistance iis much appreciated.

I am sorry I cannot answer all of your questions,
3. If your degree is not listed on the PBS then a Naric Letter would be the best supporting evidence along with your Certificate.
4. Include your marksheet (final year) - it won't harm your application if not help
6. I am in the same boat as you I also need the clarification about individual monthly bank statements or a consolidated one for the whole period.
