Applying for FLR

Post by Ajayghuman » Fri Jul 01, 2005 10:34 am

Hi All,

My HSMP visa is going to expire in next two months. I'm here in UK for the last 10 months. In the meantime I have applied for various jobs in senior management but no success yet. I'm very worried about my situation. I have more than 10 thousand GBP in my bank. For accommodation I'm living with my brother. So that's not a problem too. I wonder where do I stand in my FLR application? Is it going to be difficult? Please advise if I can do more or can take any further steps to be successful in my FLR application.
Many thanks.
Ajay

Dear Ajayghuman,
For FLR you need to submit FLR(IED) form. Submit all the relevant documents requested in teh form.
If you did not have the job in your field, you may be having some rejection letters from companies, attach those letters.
Well 10K GBP is quite good saving.
You will surely get extended for 3 years, no worries about that.

Ajay,

Could you please keep us updated about the result of your FLR extension. There are people in a similair situation as yours and they will benefit by learning from your experience including the kind of documentation you submitted.

As rckybhardwaj has said, it should not be a major issue to get an extension.
