Dependant Visa - Waiting times

Hi,

I have applied for a dependant visa in UK, for my kid born in UK on 6th February. I am on HSMP valid till Feb2010. Visa fee amount got deducted on 9th, but still I didn't receive his passport as of now. Could you please let me know how much time it takes to receive the passport.

I called the customer care, but they are saying until 6 weeks is completed they cannot tell anything. When I have checked UKBA website, starting from 2nd March they are checking applications received on or before 17th February. I am in urgent to go India and even canceled my tickets as I didn't know exact date when it is going to come.

Could you please help me if there is any way to find out status. Is there anyone who has applied on or after 6th Feb and received any information Home Office.
