Previous Earnings - One off Yearly payments

Post by gausom » Tue Mar 03, 2009 6:59 pm

Hi All,

I am on WP and have 2 jobs at the moment ( 2nd Job for 20 hrs ).

On My main WP job I am earning 19k
and on my second job I am earning 13K
The problem is, as per agreement on the second job I have agreed to receive the whole 15k as a one off payment at the end of every year ( which is march09 ). This payment would be via the PAYE.
Well, this sounds very odd to me , but that is what the employer and employee have agreed.
Pls advise, if this would look fine with the HO as I would be submitting only 1 payslip.

It should be OK, if you could get a letter from your employer/company paying which confirms this and provides complete details like your Gross-Net-Taxes etc.. Letter from employer is also considered as 1type of source of evidence for earnings..

Wait for more comments/ views from people who were in similar situations and cameout successfully...

I have a concern though, if one is working on a WP. Is he/she allowed to work elsewhere apart from the sponsorer?
