LIMITED LEAVE 2 REMAIN 2yr spouse extension is up what nxt ?

Dear friends

I'm a British citizen

I need urgent help on my wife’s spouse visa basically when the life in the UK test was introduced it was 1 month before my wife’s 2 year probationary period ended, we found out the new rules changes late and had no time to prepare for the life in the UK test or Esol courses and had to apply for a extension on her Visa for which my wife got 2 year extension that ends on 31st May 2009.

Since then My wife became pregnant we had a baby and after that she has been unwell and had an operation then a hospital infection, that meant she didn't get enough time to study well and has not yet passed her life in the UK test.

What is her best option now to apply for another extension, would that be possible ? So she can get further time to study and pass the life in the UK test.

And what forms would be needed for a 2nd extension? Also do we apply 28 days before the 2year extension is up ?
