spouse visa application in doubt

Post by Shortyangel » Mon Mar 16, 2009 7:49 pm

If a male uk resident gets married to a person outside of the EU and the marriage takes place outside of the EU (in Bangkok) and the new spouse has only a six month UK visitor visa but plans to live in the UK with her new husband. What is the next process. (The UK resident has suitable accommodation to offer but is on a low income)

What would the couple need to do if the application was refused because of his low income.

The visitor visa is of no avail and a spouse visa is required.
