Proof of Income and Graduate level experience

Post by bodyglove » Fri Jul 15, 2005 5:02 am

Hi all,

I was hopeing somebody might have some advice for me as this is now my second application and I want to make sure the information I am sending in will be suffice (First application had insufficient evidence).

Proof of Income

I have been working at my current contract for 6 months (before that I was travelling ) and will have earned the minimum required for Over 28 application in 4 months time which is when I will apply. Do I need to prove that I was working for the entire year or is it suffice that I have earned the minimum required?

My other problem with this will be proof of earning as the Tax year ends in June, so I will have my tax return for the first 6 months but I will only have Paye Slips and banks statements to prove next 4 months. I am also going to get a letter from current employer detailing my pay but my rejection letter for my last application specified that I need proof that I payed tax for all of the income. How would I prove that other than waiting untill next June? Would a letter from my accountant help or is the Paye slips and Banks statements enough.

Graduate Level Experience

I have got all of my previous employee's to redo my reference letters with the following format:
I hereby confirm that XXXX was employed full time by XXX commencing 1 Feb 1999 until 31 December 1999 when he left to go overseas.

XXX was employed as a 2nd Line IT Support Technician and Help Desk Coordinator. We recruited him directly from the University of Cape Town as this was a graduate level position that required reporting and analytical skills gained from his Bachelor of Commerce degree. During his tenure at XXXX, XXXX also completed his MCSE qualification.

Roles and Responsibilities included
Prepared reports for management
Analysed trends in reports and briefed management in weekly review meeting
Assisted with administration of Novell network
Provided 1st and 2nd line support for end users
Liaised with 3rd party suppliers for depot support
Responsible for maintaining asset register
Managed Rollouts of New PC’s

Do you think this format will be suffice and would this qualify as a graduate level position?

Would really appreciate your advice....
