An appointment at Croydon please help

Post by fifty » Wed Mar 18, 2009 6:20 pm

I am booking an appointment at Croydon for one day premium service for ILR

When should I book the appointment? I still have few months left till visa expires, I'm busy at work and I want to finish everything in one day in Croydon.

What type of questions they will ask ?

Do they do a English test even if you have Esol certificate?

What type of checks will they do ?

Will they contact my employer
My local Council
My college
etc

and how long will it take roughly the appointment
?

Can people describe your experience in Croydon please

Sorry about all these questions, I dont know what to expect as I have never been there.

Hello fifty,
I've been to Croydon before but it was for my FLR visa.

I think you should book your appointment maybe a month in advance but you can always call and if you are too early, they will tell you when it is best to call. The person will ask you when your visa will expire and advise you..

When I applied, they didn;t ask me any question, i paid up, submitted my documents and waited about 2 hrs before I got my passport back.

As long as you have your ESOL certificate, they will not make you do an english test. Also, as long as you provide the correct documents they required, they won't call your employer, i don't think unless they need to make some clarification....

hope this helps.
