Can we get ILR after 5 years on ICT WP?

Post by DJ_ICT » Sun Mar 22, 2009 5:45 pm

I read in some websites that a Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer will not make you eligible for an ILR even when you complete 5 years on it.

"ICT's are not intended as a route to settlement and at the expiry of these working permits, applicants will be obliged to return to their home country"

Is this true???????????

Is there anyone out there who has had thier ILR though Intra Company Transfer WP?

Please respond.

According to the current Tier 2 ICT rules you would be eligible after 5 years:

Quote You may apply for settlement once you have been here for five years. If you do not, you must apply under the points-based system and make a new application. Unquote

Yes, ths is a category which leads to settlement. All of Tier 2 is. You get 3 years initially, 2 further on successful application and then ILR if you're still here and qualify.
