Income in home country during initial 2 years of HSMP???????

hi all
i am here in UK under HSMP with initial leave to remain for 2 years, now i want to extend for FLR under tier 1. as i am here in UK from last 2 years and never went back to home country, but i am also working on some projects for my previous employer whose company is in my home country but not here in UK.
MY QUESTION is can i claime points on the income what i have earned in home country in last 12 months????????????????

Hi Ramish,
yes you can ligitimately claim points on the income you made in your home country. You just need to convert the amount to GBP equivalent by using the conversion rate on the last day of 12 months period that you are using. You wont be able to use the uplift factor, if you are aware of that since you were in UK while your income was earned in your home country. and as you would already know you need the attested salary slips from your home country employer as well as bank statements showing the salary getting creditted.

If you are already here on HSMP, then income elsewhere isn't actually showing that you are helping the UK economy unless it is via a UK employer.
