EEA FP and Jobs

Thanks everybody for the speedy reply and help when I asked my last question. The thing now is that my husband is also here on an EEA family perimt. I have been trying to get him a job but we dont know if realy he is allowed to work here on the basis of a 6month EEA FP. can someone please help us with some answers and advice?

According to EU law spouses have the same right as the EEA national and can work but you may find it hard to convince an employer as many of them seem to be scared to employ illegally. The EEA FP may mean to them that you are entitled to stay for only six months. Do you intend to apply for the RC? If so the CoA you receive may be more convincing though you may have to wait some time to receive this confirmation. Some people reported waiting times of many weeks.
