psw visa rejected..urgent!!!

hello everyone..i applied for PSW and details are below:-

Applied-05/02/09
document recd back-03/04/09

the visa was rejected on grounds of not having name and addrease printed on the bank statement...i went to natwest branch to print the 3months bank statment but all they printed was, all the trancation with account no only there was no name or add on it....on refusal letter from home office state that i scored all the point for PSW and even score 10 points for maintmence fund but however as i didnt submit the statment with my name on it and this the reason the visa is refused..

i have two routes now!! either i can appeal or do '1 stop appeal'(not sure what that means)...i have bank official statment now covering all those days and also written letter from bank to say that this bank account belongs to me!!
please help anyone!!1 not sure what i can do....has anyone came across similar case????

Please appeal and your appeal will be allowed 100%. You don't have to worry about anything. You dont even need a solicitor or Rep they just want to see your name on the statements.

Get all the 3 months orignal statements and get a letter from your bank with your name, address, account number, and saying something that for the last 3 months the balance did not dropped below £800 and then photocopy all the documents and submit with your AIT appeal.

Write a covering letter as well for the review, before the hearing, there have been few cases which have been solved before the hearing when the matter is simple like yours. Worst case they will give you a heading date on which the case would be heard. You might have to wait a month or so if it goes to hearing.

i have spoken to two solicitor and 1 of them sounded confident and said i shouldnt have a problem but other solicitor said that i shouldnt appeal as it gonna get rejected definately(he didnt give reason over the phone) but said i can apply via '1 stop-warning' where we apply directly to homeoffice again!!!i am not sure how it works.........

i cannot make fresh application as my visa expired on 28/02/09.. i can only do 2 things...either appeal or '1-stop warning'..

i would be greatful if people can help and if someone was in same situation as me and if he/she went through above two mentioned criteria then what was the outcome!!

I would advise you to appeal as i am sure you will win it. I am not aware of 1 stop warning, In appeal hearing you will have a chance to give your side of the story as well (oral hearing), but your case is straight forward i would still request an oral hearing not a paper one.

You'll def win your appeal no doubt, I had a friend who had the same problem with NATWEST and had the appeal allowed. Please don't send a new application since you visa has expired, just make sure your balance didn't go down at all within that period. Good Luck.

I think you'd be mad to not appeal. You might as well use your opportunity to appeal, rather than give up. It sounds to me like you have a very good chance of winning really. I'm not sure what a "one stop appeal/one stop warning" is though. Are you referring to a paper hearing vs oral hearing at all?

Appeal is the best possible option for u. Do a cover letter. Get statements and bank letter and go for it. You will win.

If it's just ur name missing on bank statements and u have all complete documentation now then u have no reason not to appeal. Just make sure ur documentation is totally complete.
