Is it compulsory to travel in three months?

Hi All,

I am in UK on HSMP visa. After completing my first two years, I got an extension for three years. As my wife had gone to Pakistan due to some family engagements so she applied for her visa from there. She has also got it stamped for three years. She got the stamp of "Partner Tier 1 General".

Is it necessary for her to travel to uk within three months or it would be ok if she comes here after 4 months?

I know some us us are struggling with finances and some can't even get a job until they get a decision with their passports from the HO. Therefore, it is EXPENSIVE calling those 0870/0845xxxxxxxxx numbers that the Home office generally provides.
Don't give up, now you can call Home Office for free, just check out www.saynoto0870.com and you will be provided with a local 0208/0151/0161xxxxxx number where you can contact HO for FREE! The actual number is 01516725626. (But log on to www.saynoto0870.com and confirm for yourself)
Especially if you have a pay monthly home or mobile telephone contract. You can still call from a pay as you go mobile but the charge rate will be like you are calling your neighbour next door on any 0208xxxxxxxx number.

Thanks for your reply. I have read the information on your given link. What I understand from the link is that my wife can travel to UK even after three months of getting her 3 years visa as Partner of Tier1 General.

But I saw the following thread on the forum which is confusing me.

The 27-month entry clearance mentioned is applicable to spouses of settled or British citizens only.

Thanks Vinny for making this clear.
This is the first benefit I have got for not getting the british citizenship yet
because now my wife can plan her flight to uk without having three months restriction.

I appreciate your help.
