HSMP EXTENSION

Post by leosview » Mon Apr 06, 2009 12:59 pm

Hi,

My HSMP extension is due on Novermber 2009.

I have got a limited company. I take salary of £11,000 and Divedends of £22,000.

Basically I need to show£26,000 to meet the points.

I dont know whether any one has applied for Tier1(HSMP) by showing salary and dividends . If so can you please advice, whether I am doing it the right way.

Can any one suggest the best option for me?

Please advice...

You are fine with claiming both salary and dividend from your company.

Is the Dividend (£22,000), a gross or net Dividend?
If it is a net dividend you need to add tax credit to it and have to consider the gross dividend.
For your previous earnings you need to show your GROSS Income and hence you have to show your gross dividend (besides gross salary).
Hope this is helpful.

i think its fine but u have to careful abt the documents to prove your earning. one can be your bank statement and second may be you preset a letter from your accountant or divident voucher. make sure you transfered the amount of dividened.
