i hv been issued psw in jan 09,

now i am thinking to switch to hspm, can any one tell if become successfull to switch to hsmp, Will i get hsmp for 3 years, 4 or five. then will i need to get an extention before becomes eligible to apply for indefinite stay.

My second question is:
Can i do two jobs to make up my earings points. If so can i do any jobs or it has to be relating to my studies?

My 3rd question is:
I finished my course MBA on 21 sep 2008, and started working from 1 sep 2008. Got psw on 15 jan 2009. Will my earning towards hsmp will start from 1 sep 2008 or from 15 jan 2009 when i actually get the visa.

Yes. After 3years you need to get an extension which will be another 2 years. So, after 5 years you can apply ILR.

Your HSMP will start from the date you get the aproval/stamping i.e. after you apply and your case is aprroved by HO caseworker. For example, currently processing time is 6-8 weeks. So if you apply today, potentially your HSMP will start from end of May.
