Proof Of Funds

I applied after 27th Feb 2008, now I have been asked to send my academic documents,proof of english, job description and experience letters and Proof of Funds.
Could anyone guide me if I show them the documents of my car which is equivalent to the worth of the Proof of Funds and I would sell off my car once I would get the Landing Papers?

You cannot use car or anthing else (apart from proof of equity in property if you are applying through London visa office).

You have to prove you have the required amount of cash in the bank when you send your documents in - unemcumbered funds.

Don't forget to take into acount the fluctuating currency rate. You have to have the CAD equivalent in GBP which has risen somewhat over the past six months.
