HSMP Extension under Tier One General

Post by dejavus » Tue Apr 14, 2009 2:54 pm

Dear Friends,

When I applied for extension of my HSMP in 2008( it have to be under tier one general) I was allowed leave to remain which was 5 weeks shorter than what I required for my ILR.

I raised this issue with HO but got no replies. Any suggestions? How should I take it forward?

I guess many people would be in same situation.

Your help much appreciated.

Best wishes

if you applied for ext earlier than expected without any valid reason then it is up to CW to decide when to issue FLR.
I think you will need another extension to cover for 5 weeks.

How long had you been in the country when you applied for the extension?

How long was the extension that you were granted for?

When you say you are going to be 5 weeks short, is this 5weeks short of 5 years or 5 weeks short of 4yrs 11months which is when you will be able to submit your application

I had initial HSMP from 15th May 2006 up till 15th May 2008(2yrs). Then Extension was allowed from 15th April 2008 up till 8th April 2011 (It should be three yrs).

I applied 6 wks before the expiry of my existing leave.

How should I get it corrected?
