As per the guidance notes:

Ad hoc bank statements printed on the bank’s letterhead are admissible as evidence (this excludes mini-statements from cash points).

Thanks 4 your reply. Not the Mini Statement which comes from ATM. I asked at Bank counter they printed this Mini Statement from their system which has bank logo, all transaction for required period, my full name, account number and sort-code then they stamped and signed.

As long as it is on bank letter head, you should be fine with it. To be on the safer side, get them stamp and signed as well

I hope the "mini" statement carries all the transactions during the three month period and not merely the month-end balances (I am still not clear why are you calling it a mini statement). As long as it contains all the details as are required under the guidance notes you are fine. My observation re "online account" still being a caveat.

Online Bank Statments

Post by sunny2004 » Sun Apr 19, 2009 12:11 am

I have stuck with another issue regarding my Internet Bank Statments.

1. I have Online Bank Statements printed on Bank's Letter head from Internet Banking but niether supported by letter nor stamped.

2. I also have Online Bank statments which are not printed on Bank's Letter Head but it's supported by Bank's letter.
The letter states "We confirm that you hold a/c <XXXXXX> with us. Please find attached statments provided by <Bank's Name> for the period covering <From Date> and <To Date>.

Can anyone please guide us to choose the best and reliable option from the above?

You can get "temporary statement" (which is accepted by HO) from your bank on 30th after your salary deposited into your bank account. Alternatively, depending upon the time you have appointment on 1st May, you can visit bank in morning to get the temporary statement.

If you have appointment in Croydon, all major banks are in walking distance (5 minutes max.) from home office. You can simply walkin to the bank branch and get a statement.
