HSMP Question

Guys,
MY HSMP tier 1 Visa Approved two weeks back from the India.I am wondering if there is any rule which enforce HSMP tier Migrant to visit Uk in Specified days after acquiring the Workpermit as the work permit is for 3 years????/ :roll:

hi,
not sure if i understood ur question correctly but i think u can visit anytime as long as your Visa is valid.

there is no rule as such..
you can arrive anytime within the 3 years

No such rule. Can come to UK at anytime before your visa expires.
Problems could be getting ILR. You may have to go for two extensions and for the further extension you should show earnings

ILR would be the only problem otherwise everything else is fine.

Hi

I am under HSMP visa working in UK and my visa is getting expired in january2010.

i would like to apply for extension and the procedure for the same.

Can any one of you please let me know if the new rules of having a master's degree is applicable for extension? Do i need to fill the Tier1 (general) or Tier1(exntensiion) application form?
