Must I be in the UK when my spouse arrives?

Post by blisspix » Tue Apr 21, 2009 9:03 am

We have been waiting a long time for the spouse visa to come through now, and timing is getting a bit tight for both of our jobs to start in the UK.

Must I be in the UK the day my spouse arrives?

We will either arrive together or I wil arrive a few days prior. I will be outside the UK for work quite regularly and may be away on business in the EU when he arrives.

Would be better if you were.

If they hadn't already taken 8+ weeks I would be but it may be unavoidable as it's bumping up against other commitments. :(

So frustrating!
