Hello.
Im hoping someone can give us some advice.
I am married to a canadian (same sex marriage been together over 2 yrs married for just ver 1 year) and my wife has been here in the UK on a two year working holiday maker visa, we are applying for us to return to Canada. We are currently living in london.
Upon the advice from the person we spoke to at the canadian high commission in london we sent our application and evidence there, only to be returned to us, which is very disapointing and frustrating.
We have forwarded our application to the Mississauga and wondered how long processing generally takes as my wife's visa runs out in early november 05.
Does anyone know if same sex applications take longer?
Also, as we are in the UK and my wife has been here for two years, we dont have her tax returns and dont have access to returns from previous years. We have explained all of this in our application, do you think this wil be a problem?
Any advice or top tips most welcomed.
Thank you!
