Passport expiring soon

I have applied for psw but now my passport is expiring on 27 april. i rang home office. they said we ll stamp your visa on separate piece of paper and thn after getting new passport you have to transfer it to new passport (there is fees for transfering visa to passport, dnt know how much). confused, what i should do now. take passport back now and apply for new one and send it to HO or wait for visa now and thn transfer it to new passport?

Any advice?

Dude wait for your PassPort then apply to renew. u dont really need to endorse visa on your new passport. But if they gonna stamp on a separate pice of paper then may be u got to do it... really depends...

Dude wait for your PassPort then apply to renew. u dont really need to endorse visa on your new passport. But if they gonna stamp on a separate pice of paper then may be u got to do it... really depends...

Yeh, they ll stamp it on separate paper bec they said, we cnt endorse it on ur expired passport. if we issue visa before ur passport expired, we ll stamp it on ur passport otherwise separate piece of paper. do u know, how much is the fees to transfer visa to new passport?

I have never heard of them stamping visa on a piece of paper, just wait and receive your visa...that's what is important now. Check the UKBA website for fees with regards to tranferring visas.
