Hi,

If someone is applying to come to the UK for 6 months to meet a family member but can support himself with maintenance and accommodation (he rents a flat our shortly after he arrives) is this allowed do arrangements need to be made before hand?

Are these documents suffice or am I missing anything?

For person
-Pakistani Passport/Identity Card
-A recent passport
-Visa Application Fee £67
-Bank Statements, payslips
-Return Flight Ticket copy
-Letter from employer to state your intention to return to Pakistan

For us

-A copy of the bio date page on passport
-A letter to state your relationship to the person and reason for visit

There is no positive answer. He may or may not be given visa.
