The question is how do you prove that the account is indeed an online accountyasa wrote:Tier 1 (General) Policy Guidance page 25 of 49
ii. Personal bank statements showing the payments made to the applicant:
Bank statements provided must be on official bank stationery, and must show each of the payments that the applicant is claiming.
If the applicant wishes to submit electronic bank statements from an online account he/ she should also provide a supporting letter from the bank on company headed paper confirming that the documents are authentic. Alternatively an electronic bank statement bearing the official stamp of the bank issuing the statements will be accepted. This stamp must appear on every page of the statement.
For the purposes of this guidance an online bank account is one that operates solely over the internet and sends their bank statements to their customers electronically (for example over the internet or via email).
Yeah i know we already had a big debate on that. According to my perception i dont think we can send any statement other than proper bank statements...push_hsmp wrote:The question is how do you prove that the account is indeed an online accountyasa wrote:Tier 1 (General) Policy Guidance page 25 of 49

As per the strict interpretation of the rules, even I would tend to go by that but a number of applicants have been successful in getting approval based on other than formal bank statements.yasa wrote: Yeah i know we already had a big debate on that. I might be wrong but its a bit tricky...
yep... but when i ordered my bank statements it came on the official stationary... but any ways fingers croosed and hope for the best....Bajwagr8 wrote:But no one can save 12 monthly bank statements. Otherwise, bank would never give statement on their official stationary.
I hope they would understand this logic. I am going to submit stamped bank statement on their plain paper. Let's hope for the best and fingers crossed!
People do keep bank statements/pay stubs for more than 4/5 years, especially when it comes to applying for VISAs/citizenship etc.Bajwagr8 wrote:But no one can save 12 monthly bank statements. Otherwise, bank would never give statement on their official stationary.
