Supporting Documents to be Attested?

Post by z » Tue May 05, 2009 12:04 pm

Hi,

My understanding is that for a Tier1 Dependant Application, a xerox copy of main applicant's passport is to be attached.

Does this copy need to be attested?...If yes, by whom (ACO / Gazetted officer)?.... Please Help!

Regards,
- Z

To what i am aware of you need to provide all the originals for the visa application. In case you are providing the xerox copies with the originals they dont need to be attested as HO can verify it with the originals provided in the same pack.

I don't think you need attested copies of main applicant's passport. I presume main applicant already have Tier 1 and you are only applying for dependent visa. As HO will already have scan copy of your passport.

If main applicant is applying along with the dependent than you don;t need to submit xerox as you are anyway submitting originals.
