switching from a student visa to tier2 general

Post by jason32 » Thu May 07, 2009 12:50 pm

Hi,

I am on a student visa and have been working for 20 hrs a week with my company for last 7 months but now they want me to work full time. My student visa is still valid for 16 months.

They have completed the labour market test and all the interviews. Now ready to apply for the sponsor certifiate.

I have a few questions if anyone could help me out here.

1. Do i have to go back to my country (pakistan) and apply for visa from there? or can i just apply from here and get my visa switched to tier2?
2. If i apply from here, is there any special documents that need to be attached with my application that justify me applying from here and not from my country?

Thanks
