Great ... I've spent a few nights filling up the Tier 1 application form Version 03/09 now they've changed this 6 days later to version 04/09.

Darn it ...

Also can you tell me, as to where we can check the form version number buddy..

This is the link to the latest form http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/en/ ... 03073/vaf9, and has been changed since the new rules came into effect since March 31st 09.

On the top right corner. Download the form it's the new version for application from 6th April 2009.

It's for an extension of for an ILR.
I thought you are talking about changes in the Tier1 application form.
Got worried cos am helping apply one of my friend.

Coolstats,it is not for extension. It is for initial application, if you apply from in-country.
VAF forms are used when you apply from your home country and seek an EC.

Hmm not sure what you meant. It's a Tier 1 application for for switching or extension. It's not extension for ILR.

There is no such thing...It's a typo, 'or' instead of 'of' is meant.
