Hi All,
Please confirm the following points
- I wanted to show only last 8 months, Will this be ok?
- My salary was directly sent to my account. From these 8 months the bank has put description "TRF" on 2 Salary related transaction and "SALARY" on remaining 6 Salary related transaction. Will this cause an issue?
Thanks in Advance

Saloo,
Better get a letter from your employer stating the Gross and net amount of salary deposited in your bank for these 8 months. This letter will then corroborate the deposites of your bank statement. Without clear descriptions case worker cannot assume that you were paid by your employer.

i have the same issue with my salary description in the bank statement, but thought it's understandable as soon as the sum and the dates are exact. did you manage to get a letter from you bank, or applied as it its?
thanks!

I am planning to attach a certificate/letter from my employer stating dates on which salary was credited to my account.
One of my friend told me as long as you have salary slips and the amount is not differing from the bank statement, you are ok.

thanks for your answer.
I personally don't think a letter from employer will add anything to it, as you will have your dates and sums in salary slips which are also issued by the employer. i thought of getting a letter from the bank, confirming that those transactionas are salaries. i just hoped that someone had similar situation and was fine without any additional letters...

In UK most of the Bank statements will simply say "Bank Giro Credit". Haven't heard of any rejections on this basis.
