Apply for a Residence Card for her under the 'Surinder Singh' rule. (I'll leave others to go into details about the rule. But basically, if you're a UK national, and you've exercised your treaty rights in another EU state, you can bring your family back to the UK under this rule). The form is an EEA2, and she can apply for it from within the UK.skaye wrote:I am UK national married to a Ukrainian. We have been living in Cyprus and I came back to the UK to live at the start of this year. My wife and our daughter (18months old) came to the UK in March on a visitors Visa. We intend to remain in the UK. I am on job seekers allowance looking for work. Question is what must I do about my wifes visa in order for her to remain in the UK? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Joe, where in Rozen's post did you see the mention of a "family permit"??? Rozen has advised the OP to have her spouse apply for a RESIDENCE CARD (using form EAA2) under the SS rule. This confirms the rights of residence of a non-EEA family member in the UK.joe777 wrote: how can he apply for a family permit, when he's been back in the UK for 5 months
To the OP: Please ignore thisonly way is your wife goes back and applies for a spouse visa
