hi.
I had applied for my extension to stay (Leave to remain) application under Tier-1 Post study work Transitional Arrangements (IGS-PSW) on 25th of march but until today i have not received any acknowledgement letter and also HO has not taken any payment. i had contacted immigration enquire bureau for couple of times and asked about my application and finally after 6 weeks they said that my application is still not updated on their system which should be some where in processing at this stage. now i have been told by a supervisor at Immigration enquire bureau to contact to royal mail...i had checked with royal mail and got a letter from royal mail which state that my packege is delivered on a right place.
Now i presume that my application is lost or missplaced some where by HOME Office.
can any one please tell me where to contact and where to complain for this metter. i want to track down my application as soon as possible and want to put it in processing queue.
i am thinking to go to my local MP and ask him to help me in this metter..
please advise.
thanks

First get confirmation from the Home Office that it has been lost. Keep the delivery tracking printout and the mail reference number but send/fax copies. Call IEB again and quote the Royal Mail tracking number, they can check it themselves and see that the package was delivered. It may still be with the payment processing centre (where it goes first and this is not part of the Home Office) and not have reached the Home Office.

When did you send the fax? If it was a while ago, call again and say you want an answer, and/or to complain.

Considering it is Sunday, that isn't very long ago. They are not open at the weekend in most departments in UKBA. You could still try on Monday however.

last week called IBE and asked about my application and in reply Duty Officer told me that that posted something back on the day when they received something from me and gave me a Royal mail reference and advice me to check with royal mail where that item is...now royal mail told me that actually royal mail did not recieve any item against that specific reference number from home office so as they did not receive any thing so how can they deliver to me....
now i hired a representative to track down my application...
can any one please tell me what to do to track my application and where to contact...
is it suitable for me if i go to HO creydon office by person and ask them about my application...
pls advise;
thanks
