Spouse visa, Time Seperated

Post by craig1974 » Tue May 26, 2009 10:50 am

My wife is from colombia, we married overs 2 years ago and she was granted a spouse visa for the UK.
In May last year we was having svere marriage problems and we decided to seperate, she went back home in May 08, her visa was due to expire Aug 08. The reason we finally seperated was because her mother was very ill and uring her 2 year spouse visa she went home twice to care for her mother, I know now it was selfish of me not to consider this, but when she went home the last time, it was to much and I decided to seperate.
In November of last year, we decided to try and save our marriage and after lengthy talks we decided to give it another go. We called each other everyday nearly sive november 08 and emailed each other also and I have kept all these records.
I have just returend from a 3 week trip visitng her in colombia, and we are very happy again having sorted out our problems. I want my wife now to apply for a new spouse visa, but is this going to be very difficult considering we was seperated for 7 months or so. I really need some advice on this, we are still married and i have kept all evidence of our calls, emails and my recent trip there, can anyone offer me any advice if this is going to be difficult to try and get a new spouse visa for my wife?
I wait your replies and thank you in advance

I just wanted to add something else to the text above I wrote earlier, I have just come back from a 3 week visit to my wife, have all the plane ticket reciepts and stamps in my passport, but dozy me forgot my camera, Im not a photo person anyway and not keen on pics, so becuase I did not take my camera We did not take any pictures which i now realise was very silly, like i said, i have the stamps and airline stubs to proove i went seeing her in her town, but I now suppose the embassy could question this because we did not take any pictures whilst there, but a simple mistake of forgetting my camera, but will they play on this, please advise, I am getting more and more concerned the more i think of it, below is what i previously wrote and also to add, when we seperated last year, I destroyed all my pictures of us together so cant show them either anymore, I did this believing our marriage was over, silly me to assume, what do you folks reckon?????????????????

They should also take her mother's illness into consideration. Get evidence from doctors.
