HSMP extension switching to tier 1 pay slip

Post by sudha1423 » Sat May 30, 2009 1:01 pm

Hello,

I had got done my HSMP two years ago and it is due for extension. My HSMP expires in AUG. I have two issues.

1) i have missed my june and july 2008 payslips. i can get a duplicate copy and get it attested from my HR. Is that ok
2) My name is misspelled in some of my payslips. I can get a consolidated payslip from my company and also get a letter from my company stating that. will that ok

can some one please tell me if this will cause any problem with my extension. should i submit any more documents. I do get all points for age, qualification, salary band and UK work experience.

thanks
Sudha

If you can get a consolidated payslip from your HR then don't keep the payslips as it contain your name misspelled.

Keep your consolidated payslip, p60 of april-08-09 and the bank statements. You shuld be fine

Get a letter from your employer which shows your monthly gross salary, deductions, Net pay (amount credited to your bank account. The letter should be as prescribed in the Guidancce notes. Supply your Bank statements and thats all you need for the earnings criteria. No need for P60.

Its "ok" but not ideal, that how I will put it. If your company is cooperative, it makes sense for you to provide a clean evidence - why give caseworkers (who are clearly prone to making mistakes) a chance to raise their eyebrows. Dont want to alrm you and if a simle letter is all you can get then its fine as well.

Thanks Guru. Should the letter for employer be each month breakdown or a consolidated payslip is fine. should it be month wise breakup like march this was the net and this was the gross or consolidated payslip for last 12 months.
