Business Visa on top of Tier 1

Business Visa on top of Tier 1

I have tier 1 visa valid from March 10th 2009 for 3 yrs. I'm currently working in India and my employer is aware that I have Tier1 visa. There is a project requirement where in I have to be in UK for 2 months. But for now my employer is insisting me to travel on a Business visa since the scope is only for 2 months and they are not too sure about the extension. So for now if I apply for a business visa will my tier 1 visa get invalid?. Please let me know.

I would not recommend you to go for the business visa as it will invalidate your T1 status..

Your employer is trying to talk to you. Why somebody will spent money to get you business visa though they know you have got Tier 1 and can fly even on a short notice. It will only save money to your employer. Isn't it?

Make your stand not to overwrite your Tier 1. You can get Business Visa anytime from your employer but for Tier 1 you have spent your hard earned money.
