Hi there
I need a legal advice to find out whether I am eligible to file N 470 form or not
Currently, I have a job opportunity to work with the United Nation and I don’t want to lose it. But, unfortunately, the duty station is in another country and I don’t have one year of uninterrupted physical present inside the USA
My questions are:
1- Is it correct that working with United Nations entitles a permanent resident to file N 470 without having one year of uninterrupted physical present inside USA
2- As a United Nations employee…. it correct that after filling N 470, the time spend out of USA will be counted towards the applicant physical present inside the USA?
3- Is it corrects that …. The Immigration Laws in USA entitles permanent residents who work in a public organization in which the United States participates by treaty or statue, to apply for naturalization after 5 Years of continuance work? Even if they were stationed out of the country… if the answer is yeas, what documents or application should be submitted to the USCIS?
Cheers,
