Married then off to UK in a week?

Ok, this probably isn't a unique situation, but I can't find the information I need. I am a Greek citizen working/studying full time in the UK. In a few weeks I am getting married to my American fiancee in Athens, and after a week we are coming back up to the UK.

I don't think that gives us enough time for the EEA FP, but I think she could get into the UK on her US passport just fine as a visitor. She visited me back in April for two weeks, I believe those visas are valid for six months, right? I plan on coming prepared with the Marriage Certificate, photos, etc. just in case we get any trouble.

It also doesn't help that she is only 20, but as a full-time student I think that exempts us from that rule. It's all rather frustrating, if we could only have an interview and explain the situation I'm sure things would be simpler. Anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed?

As a follow-up, we did start filling out the EEA Family Permit thinking we could apply as married since by the time we need the permit we will be, but the questions on the form make it difficult to do this. We decided not to in the end because we don't want to be accused of providing false details. But applying for one after we're married (June 15 would be the earliest) is cutting it close.

Just thought I'd add that to my original post. Anyone have experience of this?
