Query about FLR

I am a Non-EU National and I currently hold an HSMP Visa( 2yrs Visa till Jan 2010). I had appeared for a few interviews in the UK and in the process I came across an opportunity 1 year ago in the Republc of Ireland ( Galway) and took that up (under the Irish Greencard Visa Scheme applied for by my current Employer). I am currently looking to apply for the UK- HSMP Extension i.e. FLR (Further Leave to remain) so that I may be able to take up employment in the UK in the coming months. I would like to understand my options in this case since I have not worked in the UK so far. I would be obliged if you would be kind enough to advise me on the following:-

1) Would I be able to still qualify for the FLR ( further leave to remain ) despite not having worked in the UK wit h my current HSMP visa.
2) In terms of earnings, I do qualify for the full 45 points( >45000 GBP) with my current salary in Euros. Does this suffice or do I need to show that I have worked for a UK based Employer over the last 12 month period?
3) I have a Bachelors Degree and have sufficient funds in my Bank to show that I can support my family ( Spouse and 1 year old kid). Does this suffice or do I need to show savings in a UK based Bank account?

I would really apreciate any guidance so that I can enhance my chances of a making a successful application for FLR.

Hi Arsun,

As you know the basic requirement for FLR is to show up the earnings well within UK and I am afraid you did not meet this basic requirement.
Though I am not sure how it will help you if you can prove that you have been working for a UK based employer all these years but there seams tobe some logic in that (not sure how you are going to prove this)

As far as I know, if you were not employed by UK based employer(who then sent you to work overseas), you will not be able to apply for ILR.

How will you show that you have worked for UK based employer ? I will rule out that option.

The question is valid only if you are able to apply for FLR. If you are still qualified to apply for FLR(which I personally think not) you can use this. You don;t have to show maintenance funds for UK based. You can use any bank for the same.
