UK citizen and fiance is a USA citizen

I just found out im pregnant and i want to have my child in the US so my fiance can be at the birth and my child will have citizenship.
We want to get married before the baby is born so that i can get a visa to join him in US.
But, if i give birth in the US whilst my visa is still being processed does that mean i will deported back to the UK after the baby is born without my husband?

Why do you think you would get deported? I would apply for the K1 fiance visa, if I were you. The green card can be applied only after marriage.
