You do not need it - does your course duration fall within the 12 consecuting months you are using for claiming oints for earnings?Edo wrote:Hi, I'm going for an in-person appointment to UKBA soon to apply for Tier 1 (General). I have all the evidences with me along with original MSc degree and transcript. I just wanted to know if its still important to produce a letter from the University that confirms my study period etc?
(PS: I'm currently on PSW so UKBA must have the records of my education on their system)
Any help with my query will be thankfully received.

No, my course hasnt got anything to do with my salary. My MSc degree as issued in 2007 and yes, I have been in my current job for the last 1 & a half year. I was just generally asking if I have to have a letter from uni in addition to degree and transcript?push_hsmp wrote:You do not need it - does your course duration fall within the 12 consecuting months you are using for claiming oints for earnings?Edo wrote:Hi, I'm going for an in-person appointment to UKBA soon to apply for Tier 1 (General). Well, I'm afraid I dont have enough time to request and wait for a uni letter.email257525 wrote:Technically You dont need a letter from university,
But
To be on safeside there is no harm to attach a letter, It will also save you if ur applicaton is being dealt by an Ocword and ignorant caseworker

Thanks. I am going to take my undergrad and postgrad degrees (both from UK) with me and I think the caseworker has to be really stupid to doubt them.chetanojha wrote:Apply with your current Degree and you should be fine.
