Hi Friends, I need clarification with regards to visa fees to be paid for my wife and one child (5 months old)
I have come to UK on work permit issued by my employer in 02-Oct-2006. On 27-Feb-2008 I have applied for HSMP and received HSMP approval letter dated 23-Apr-2008. Subsequently I have applied for "further leave to remain in UK" on Oct-2008 and switched my immigration status to Tier1 (General) under "Transitional arrangements for the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme". At present I am in UK and I want to apply UK visa for my wife and one child who are currently in India
My queries are as follows:-
1) Under which category I should bring them to UK "Dependant of HSMP" or "Dependant of Tier1 (General)"?
2) What will be the fees I have to pay for my wife and one child (5 months old)? As per the website (http://www.vfs-uk-in.com/visafees.aspx) there are two different fees, one is "Dependant of tier 1 general applicant" which is Rs:54,000 and other is "Dependant of tier 1 general applicant with HSMP approval letter (transitional arrangement)" which is Rs:20,000.
3) Do I need to pay this fees twice i.e once for my wife and other for my child i.e 2x54,000 or 2x20,000?
I have searched the forum and didn't find any answers hence I would be very greatful if you can clarify this at the earliest.
Kind Regards,
