I submitted my application on 21 April 2009, when l phoned Home Office yesterday l was told that my application has been completed and l will receive a letter shortly. My friend who applied after me got her approval today. Here is her timeline:

5 years, 10 months and 19 days after I first set foot in this country my journey is finally finished. Though not impressed that, like carmeloreyes, they just dropped my passport through the letter box. Thought you were supposed to sign for those.
